Overview
Our unique retreat is situated just a 30min drive from Gaborone, nestled in a beautiful valley overlooking the historic Kolobeng river and hills. David Livingstone chose this location to build his mission in 1847 with his wife Mary and his children.
The Mission acted as Botswana first surgery, school and church. This location saw Sechele I, Kgosi of the Bakwena Tribe converted to Christianity, and irrigation was used to grow crop on the banks of the perennial Kolobeng River.

Enjoy sundowners on our stunning thatched deck whilst watching the majestic sunsets (this is a must see) Our Eco retreat is powered with our Solar system and water is drawn from the spring fed river, the water is filtered and used thought-out our resort.
